Apparently, there’s a rumor going around that you’re interested in knowing how to learn how to tattoo. Is that true? Well, I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but fact of the matter is learning to tattoo on your own without the proper guidance can be intensely difficult!
Now, I’m aware that there are some decent books available on the market which teaches you some useful things about tattooing. That’s all fine and dandy; however, you have to admit that books aren’t really the best way to learn tattooing. A great way is to ask for apprenticeship from a reliable tattoo shop.
Something to keep in mind is that most reputable and reliable tattoo shops would charge hundreds to thousands of dollars for apprenticeship. Some might take you in for free, but you have to either be the best of buddies with the shop owners, or be willing to stick around the shop for a good number of years after completing your apprenticeship.
