a) As a student of the International School of Body Art, and currently an amateur tattoo artist, I managed to gain a lot of valuable knowledge from this over 12 hours DVD course. Becoming a tattoo artist isn’t easy because you need to learn tons of stuff, apart from tattooing techniques; you also need to know about sterilization process, tweaking tattoo power units, aftercare process, paperwork for protecting your tattoo biz, etc. This course pretty much covers them all in detail. Any beginner, who wants to learn to be a tattoo artist, should check out this DVD course. It’s pretty decent and the set arrived at my place in perfect condition.
b) These are some of the best tattoo instructional videos out there. It’s a really good introductory course for people who are interested in becoming a tattoo artist. The videos cover plenty of topics and there are about 29 videos in total, fitted onto 4 DVDs. I think even intermediates could learn a thing or two from the videos, although they are mostly aimed at newbies. Overall, these are very good set of tattoo video tutorials. Viewing the videos and following along each lesson (practicing with fruits initially), will help newbies gain some confidence and improve their techniques. However, I do wish they had included more lessons on how to tattoo intricately-designed dragons, or doing lower back tattoos.
c) I’ve been looking for comprehensive videos on how to tattoo and found this course while browsing a body art forum. I bought the set for my personal use and after viewing all the lessons, I decided to purchase another set as a birthday gift for my younger brother who also wants to learn to be a tattoo artist. It’s a great step by step course so if you’re new to this subject, then you will definitely benefit from this video set.
d) These tattoo instructional videos helped me figure out my mistakes, especially when it comes to restoring old tattoos. I followed the techniques shown in the video and now I got the hang of the methods required to nicely rework a tattoo. Mostly simple modifications as I’m still learning. The quality of the videos is good and all the techniques are shown clearly and well explained so you could practice on some fruits while following the tutorials.
